Let me tell you how awesome DJ Risky is. I planned my birthday party this past February. What started off just as a small dinner with friends blew up into an event. I booked a space in downtown Los Angeles to service my large party. Booking was a pain since it was short notice for the restaurant, but it worked out eventually. I had everything ready – food for the guests and an open bar. But there was a missing element to making this a kick-ass birthday party – Music! I didn’t want the music the restaurant played as the music for my party. At that moment knew I wanted a DJ. I heard from close friends of this DJ out in Las Vegas who is super knowledgeable about mixing music and very accommodating to people’s needs. Coming from a family of musicians, I wanted someone who knew his stuff, not a run-of-the-mill type of DJ. DJ Risky definitely fits the bill. I decided to give him a call to check on his availability, knowing that he’ll most likely decline because of the distance. To my surprise, he agreed to do it despite his busy schedule. He drove all the way from Las Vegas to Los Angeles just to play on my birthday! Talk about accommodating! The party was a success thanks to the DJ. My guests were all smiles, head nodding and side-stepping. I danced all night. I was the happiest I had ever been! Thank you DJ Risky for bring the soul to the party and the groove to my feet. You nailed it!

Talk about diamonds in the rough! Gilbert’s talent to find and make the transition from one rarity to a top 40 hit is a few and far between. His mixes that are available for download really gets you moving, and I’m always excited to see what he’s got in store. Great sense of music, great talent, and a great guy. Love that he brings the East Coast, NY life to Vegas.
