Wedding Ceremony Songs
When it comes to the selection of songs for your wedding ceremony, first you must decide if you want to go simple or elaborate for your wedding ceremony processional.
You can keep it as simple as one song for the entire bridal party processional. One song for the bride processional. Then finally one song for the recessional.
You can have an elaborate processional and have a different song for family members, the groom (sometimes escorted by his parents), the best man, groomsmen, bridesmaids, matron of honor, flower girls and ring bearers, and then the bride escorted by her father.
You can go for the traditional wedding ceremony songs like Canon in D, Bridal Chorus “Here Comes the Bride,” and Wedding March for the processional and recessional part of the wedding ceremony. Some couples prefer a more modern ceremony and be unique or hip. Instead of walking down the isle, some may choose to bust a move and dance down the isle to a hip song.
