2019 Walk to Defeat ALS

DJ G-Tez will be providing the music entertainment at the 2019 Walk to Defeat ALS on Sunday, November 3rd 9:30am to 1:30pm at Cornerstone Park in Henderson, NV. Registration begins at 10:30am. The Walk to Defeat ALS® is the Nevada Chapter’s largest Walk. The Walk is a family friendly event, where families and companies come together to celebrate their fundraising efforts and share the hope to defeat ALS! Funds raised goes to help those living with ALS in Nevada. There will be music, food vendors, a photo booth, face painting, free giveaways, activities, and more.

Cornerstone Park is located at 1600 Wigwam Parkway, Henderson, NV 89074.

What is ALS?

ALS is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that affects nerve cells in the brain and the spinal cord. The ability of the brain to control muscle movement is lost. When you have ALS you may lose the ability to speak, eat, move and breathe. Voluntary movements and muscle control are affected. Imaging having a hard to simply reach for your phone.
